What is Payan Parfum?

Payan Parfum is a Latin-owned fragrance house based in Urbana, Illinois. We handcraft all of our perfumes in small batches using ethically sourced raw materials. Every bottle is created with care, blending art, science, and culture to deliver a truly personal experience.

What concentration are your fragrances?

All Payan Parfum fragrances are Parfums (25–30% concentration) — higher than typical Eau de Parfums or Eau de Toilettes. This means our scents are long-lasting, rich, and complex.

How much do your fragrances cost?

Our standard bottles are 30 ml for $45, and we also offer DIY/custom blends at farmers markets and events. Prices may vary for special editions or large sizes.

What is the DIY fragrance bar?

Our DIY fragrance bar lets you become the perfumer. You’ll explore raw ingredients and craft your own signature scent with guidance from us. It’s a fun, educational, and unique experience available at farmers markets, private events, and soon in our studio.

Are your fragrances safe?

Yes. Every fragrance we make follows IFRA (International Fragrance Association) safety standards. We use only tested, high-quality materials, and we provide documentation on sourcing and safety when needed.

Do you use natural or synthetic ingredients?

We use both. Naturals (essential oils, absolutes, resins) bring authenticity and depth, while synthetics (aroma molecules) provide consistency, longevity, and creative possibilities. Every formula is designed for balance, performance, and safety.

Where are your fragrances made?

Every perfume is blended, bottled, and packaged by hand in Urbana, Illinois. We believe in local craftsmanship and complete transparency.

Do you ship?

Yes. We currently ship across the United States. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on location.

How long will a bottle last?

A 30 ml bottle typically lasts 3–6 months depending on how often you use it. Because our perfumes are high concentration, only a few sprays are needed.

How should I store my perfume?

Keep your perfume in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Proper storage ensures your fragrance maintains its character for years.

Do you offer custom or private events?
